If your child is nervous about visiting the dentist, we offer safe nitrous oxide, (laughing gas), to help calm any nerves.
Nitrous oxide is a sweet-smelling gas mixed with oxygen, inhaled through the mouth or nose to promote a strong sense of relaxation, serenity, and comfort.
With children’s sedation dentistry, your child remains conscious during treatment and can communicate with our team. Once we stop the nitrous oxide sedation and your child breathes in fresh air, he or she feels normal again. The effects fade quickly, and you can go about your normal day.
Nitrous oxide is very safe for children, and once they learn that the dental chair is nothing to be afraid of, they won’t need it anymore!
